Ford introduced a new mid-sized electric pickup truck with a starting price of about $30,000, set to arrive in 2027. The truck will be built on the Ford Universal EV Platform and have a 400-volt architecture, powered by a lithium-iron phosphate battery made at Ford's BlueOval Battery Park. The truck is expected to have more passenger room than the Toyota RAV4 and a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds. Ford also introduced the Universal EV Production System and plans to offer continuous improvements through over-the-air updates.
