Ford EV Plans Backfire as Sales Plummet 61%

Ford's EV sales dropped 61% in November, with the F-150 Lightning sales down 72.4%. The company's $30 billion EV investment plan may not be entirely spent, with losses expected to persist. CEO Jim Farley has acknowledged Chinese manufacturers' lead in EV production and development, but indicated Ford won't give up on an EV future. Ford is instead focusing on its combustion engine vehicle success, waiting for the Chinese EVs to arrive in the US market.
