Flipster Partners With TALON, Enters Esports Arena

Flipster, a rapidly growing cryptocurrency derivatives trading platform, has announced its entry into the esports arena by partnering with TALON, a prominent competitive gaming organization in Asia. This collaboration marks Flipster's debut in the global esports scene, with a focus on bridging the worlds of esports and digital assets.

Under the partnership, TALON’s Dota 2 team will officially compete under the name Flipster Talon, with Flipster securing the naming rights for the team for the next year. This move establishes Flipster as the Official Crypto Exchange Partner of TALON, aiming to foster education, interactivity, and inclusive participation across both esports and crypto communities.

Youngsun Shin, Head of Product and Partnerships at Flipster, highlighted the significance of esports as a thriving frontier for Web3 culture. He emphasized that Flipster Talon represents a new kind of connection with a digital-native generation that values openness, creativity, and inclusion—values that are also fundamental to the crypto world. The partnership will involve a series of co-created content, campaign drops, and digital fan activations designed to deepen fan engagement and make crypto more approachable.

Sean Zhang, CEO of TALON, expressed excitement about welcoming Flipster to the TALON family. He noted that Flipster's innovative approach aligns with TALON's drive to push boundaries and create richer fan experiences. Together, they are exploring new ways to integrate gaming and crypto culture, enhancing the overall fan experience.

Since its founding in 2021, Flipster has grown rapidly, serving over one million users across nearly 200 countries. The platform offers over 350 trading pairs across spot and futures markets, with up to 100x leverage and zero trading fees. Flipster aims to make crypto trading more accessible, rewarding, and fun, providing users with capital-efficient opportunities such as earning programs and token airdrops.

TALON, headquartered in Hong Kong, is known for its dominance in titles such as League of Legends, Dota 2, and Arena of Valor. The organization is also expanding its content platform and lifestyle-driven brand collaborations, making it a leading player in the esports and entertainment industry.

The full Flipster Talon rollout is set for June, including player signings, co-branded content, and a launch video to mark the partnership’s debut.
