Shares of major COVID-19 vaccine makers, including Moderna, Novavax, and Pfizer, fell on Monday after an internal FDA memo reportedly linked vaccinations to several child deaths linked to heart inflammation. The memo suggested that "no fewer than 10" of 96 pediatric deaths reviewed between 2021 and 2024 were probably connected to COVID-19 shots. The FDA's findings have not undergone peer review and are set to be discussed by the CDC's vaccine advisory committee next week.
