Exxon Mobil's Digital Future: Investing in Low-Carbon Technologies and Carbon Capture

Exxon Mobil Corp is investing up to $30 billion in lower-emission initiatives, including clean energy, low-carbon fuels, and carbon capture and storage solutions. The company aims to grow its oil production by 18% by 2030 and is also focusing on digital innovation, including a deal with Cerebre to enhance its "Foundational Digital Backbone." Exxon is targeting corporate energy demand, especially from the AI boom, and is building a 1.5 GW natural gas-fired power plant dedicated to data centers with CCS capable of capturing more than 90% of emissions.
