Eversource Energy dropped 1.91% in after-hours trading, despite reporting strong second-quarter earnings of $352.7 million, or 96 cents per share, which exceeded Wall Street expectations. The company's revenue for the period was $2.84 billion, and it expects full-year earnings to be between $4.67 and $4.82 per share.
