Leviton’s new EV40P model provides up to 40A of charging power with a plug-in design for both at-home and on-the-go charges. The SAE-J1772 connector ensures compatibility with most EVs, including Tesla with a Leviton NACS Adapter.

Tesla's 'Full Self-Driving' features were reportedly active during a fatal crash with a motorcyclist. This is the second known fatal crash while Tesla’s Full Self-Driving features were activated. The responsibility lies with the driver, but Tesla should put more effort into discouraging misuse of these features.

A new Tesla prototype, rumored to be the upcoming Model Y Juniper refresh, has leaked. This prototype shows a rear illuminated 'Tesla' brand badge and other design changes, indicating a refresh may be coming in 2024.

BYD and Uber have announced a new multi-year partnership, which will bring 100,000 BYD electric vehicles onto Uber's platform globally. This alliance aims to make going electric more affordable for Uber drivers and will offer discounts on charging, maintenance, insurance, financing, and leasing.

Audi has unveiled its new A6 e-tron electric sedan with Sportsback and Avant versions. This new model is expected to offer a range of up to 470 miles on the WLTP standard and features fast charging capabilities. The A6 e-tron will be available for orders in September 2024 in Europe, with prices starting at €75,600.

The Kia EV4, part of Kia’s new affordable electric car lineup, was spotted testing in Europe for the first time. The EV4 is expected to feature range and battery options similar to the EV3 and will be officially revealed before the end of 2024, with deliveries starting next year.

Lucid’s first pre-production Gravity luxury electric SUV has rolled off the assembly line. The Gravity features a luxurious interior and over 440 miles of range. Lucid hopes to maintain its momentum after setting a new delivery record in the second quarter.

The 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric will include a sporty N Line model with design upgrades. The Kona Electric N Line will start at $39,670 and feature a range of up to 261 miles. The base SE model will start at $34,270.

DirtySixer has launched oversized e-bikes with Bosch mid-drive motors, designed for taller riders. These e-bikes feature massive 32" or 36" wheels and are available in frame sizes up to 4XL. The bikes are currently available for presale at $7,199.
