Ethereum’s price trajectory is gaining new attention as crypto analyst Miles Deutscher highlighted the potential for the asset to reach $15,000, according to a prediction supported by AI modeling. In a video posted on August 10, Deutscher emphasized that Ethereum’s recent breakout above the $4,000 level signals a significant shift in market dynamics, potentially setting the stage for a new all-time high [1]. The analyst noted that
closed above the $4,000 level on a weekly basis for the first time since November 2021, a key development supporting a broader bullish case.Deutscher’s analysis blended technical indicators with model-driven probabilities to assess Ethereum’s potential price targets. Initially, he proposed a $7,000 price forecast based on an “eye test” of the price action, but he transitioned to AI models for a more rigorous assessment. Two large-language models were run using shared inputs, asking for the probabilities of Ethereum reaching certain price levels by the end of 2025 and 2026. The first model indicated a roughly 75% chance of revisiting the prior high near $4,700, a 60% chance of surpassing $5,000, and around 30% to reach $6,000. The chances of hitting $10,000 in 2025 were estimated at 1% [1].
When the analysis was extended to 2026, the probabilities increased substantially. The model suggested high confidence in reaching $4,700–$5,000, better-than-even odds for $6,000, and approximately 40% for $7,500, with a non-trivial 18% probability of hitting $10,000 or higher [1].
Deutscher also tested the same exercise using the Grok model, which yielded a more aggressive outlook. The model suggested a base-case target of $10,000, with a plausible cycle-top range of $8,000–$15,000 [1]. According to the model’s technical guidance, a break above $4,800 would indicate the pursuit of new all-time highs, while a drop below $3,800 could undermine the bullish thesis. Deutscher added a tighter threshold for short-term invalidation, cautioning that a daily close below $3,400 could signal a structural breakdown in the bullish momentum [1].
The bullish case for Ethereum is underpinned by several macro and micro-level factors, including strong ETF flows and anticipated regulatory clarity. Deutscher noted that Ethereum had seen $17 billion in net inflows into crypto ETFs over the last 60 days, with $11 billion of that in July alone [1]. He also highlighted the potential impact of the U.S. GENIUS Act, which is expected to provide regulatory clarity for certain crypto assets and stablecoins, thereby facilitating institutional participation in on-chain finance and asset tokenization.
Ethereum’s position as the leading platform for decentralized finance (DeFi) and tokenization further supports its role as a key beneficiary of these developments. Deutscher pointed to Ethereum’s technical regime shift and its ability to attract new buyers through retirement-account access as additional growth drivers. He also noted the broader market context, including stablecoin growth, resilient price action, and a shift in Bitcoin’s dominance, which historically precedes a rotation into altcoins with Ethereum at the center [1].
Despite the strong case for higher prices, Deutscher acknowledged that the path to $15,000 would not be a straight line. He anticipated a cyclical pattern of rotations, with
leading, followed by Ethereum catching up, and finally higher-beta altcoins gaining traction. Deutscher also suggested that the next phase of momentum could emerge in 2026, aligning with key political and monetary calendar points [1].He concluded that the combination of structural inflows, regulatory clarity, and Ethereum’s technical shift leaves the asset poised for a strong upward trajectory. “This would be hard momentum to slow down in the short to mid-term,” he said, noting that the true “FOMO” phase may only begin once Ethereum moves beyond its $4,800 peak [1]. At the time of the analysis, Ethereum traded at $4,303 [1].
