Ethereum's price slid 4.86% to $3,757.13 on October 30, marking its lowest 5 p.m. ET level since October 11, 2025, when it traded at $3,700.42, according to a
. The decline, the largest percentage drop since October 10, 2025, when fell 10.48%, has pushed the asset into a three-day losing streak, with a cumulative decline of 9.08% over that period, the report noted. This stretch is the worst three-day performance since the three days ending October 16, 2025, when the token fell 10.09%.Despite the recent volatility, analysts note that the MVRV (Market Value to Realized Value) ratio for Ethereum is currently at 1.50, a level historically associated with market consolidation before significant price moves. The MVRV ratio measures the market value of all ETH against its realized value-the total value of coins based on their last transaction prices. A ratio above 1 indicates that the majority of coins are above their cost basis, while a ratio below 1 suggests the opposite. A ratio near 1.5 is often seen as a neutral zone, where market sentiment is neither overly bullish nor bearish, potentially signaling a setup for a breakout, the report said.

The token's monthly performance has also deteriorated, with a 10.39% drop from the start of October. This puts the asset on track for its worst month since March 2025, when it fell 18.10%. However, Ethereum remains up 12.33% year-to-date, despite being 24.18% below its all-time intraday high of $4,955.23 set on August 24, 2025, Morningstar noted. The 52-week range remains broad, with the token up 49.20% from its October 31, 2024, price of $2,518.23 but also 165.19% above its 52-week low of $1,387.85 on April 9, 2025.
Intraday volatility has also intensified, with Ethereum hitting a low of $3,680.41-the lowest level since October 17, 2025. The 6.81% intraday decline was the largest since October 14, 2025, when the token fell as much as 9.09%, the report added. Traders and analysts are closely watching whether the MVRV ratio's neutral stance will hold or if further price action will shift the balance toward a bullish or bearish breakout.
