ERP Adoption in Portugal: A Leader in Cloud Migration and Innovation

Portugal stands out as a European leader in ERP adoption, with 52% of companies using ERP software in 2021. Cloud migration is also gaining momentum, with around 35% of companies hosting their ERP in the cloud. Legal requirements have driven the adoption of compliant ERP systems, with around 50% of companies acquiring, upgrading or considering acquiring ERP systems. SAP is gaining traction in Portugal, with notable projects including Grow with SAP, Casa Mendes Gonçalves, Softinsa and public sector adoption by Comboios de Portugal and Metropolitano de Lisboa.
