Enso has formed a strategic partnership with Stargate and LayerZero to develop a one-click liquidity migration solution for Unichain. This collaboration aims to facilitate a seamless transition of up to $3.5 billion in liquidity, potentially marking one of the most significant liquidity shifts in Ethereum’s history.
As the Web3 ecosystem continues to evolve, the need for efficient liquidity movement across different networks has become increasingly important. Traditionally, transferring liquidity to Unichain has been a complex, multi-step process, which has deterred many liquidity providers (LPs) from utilizing Uniswap v4. Enso, in collaboration with LayerZero and Stargate, is addressing this challenge by offering a streamlined solution that allows LPs to bridge, migrate, and redeploy their liquidity in a single transaction.
This innovative solution will enable Uniswap v2 and v3 LPs to move their positions from Ethereum and other EVM-compatible networks directly to Uniswap v4 on Unichain. The migration system was developed through a collaborative effort, with Enso focusing on DeFi execution and deployment, Stargate handling the bridging process, and LayerZero ensuring secure and reliable messaging across the networks.
“Through engineering a unified solution with the help of Stargate and LayerZero, Enso has added the missing piece to the puzzle,” said Enso Co-Founder Connor Howe. “With the ability to transfer their positions in one click, Uniswap LPs are about to trigger one of the largest liquidity migration events in Ethereum history.”
By facilitating LP migration between EVM chains and Unichain, Enso demonstrates the practical application of DeFi’s composability in seamlessly transferring billions in onchain liquidity. This partnership not only simplifies the liquidity migration process but also highlights the potential for future collaborations that can further enhance the efficiency and accessibility of the Web3 ecosystem.
