Eni's Plenitude unit has agreed to acquire Acea Energia, a regional utility, for up to €687m ($798.7m). The deal includes a €460m upfront payment, with the remaining amount to be recognized as normalized net earnings. The acquisition will strengthen Plenitude's presence in Italy's energy market and support its low-carbon strategy.
