Eni and Ivory Coast Ink Deal for Offshore Oil Exploration Block

Eni SpA has signed a contract with Ivory Coast for the acquisition of offshore oil-exploration block CI-707. The deal has a three-year duration and requires a minimum $20 million investment. This is the second significant offshore hydrocarbon discovery made by Eni in Ivory Coast, following the Baleine and Calao fields. Eni aims to increase output to 150,000 barrels per day.
