Emerging EV Giants Surge: Li Auto, Xpeng, and Leapmotor Set New Delivery Records
In September, several emerging electric vehicle companies reported record-breaking delivery figures, marking a significant achievement in the industry. Leading the charge, Li Auto delivered 53,709 vehicles, marking a 48.9% year-over-year increase. This achievement contributes to their third-quarter total of 152,831 vehicles, reflecting a 45.4% growth compared to the previous year.
Xpeng Motors also reached new heights, delivering 21,352 vehicles in September, a 39% increase from the previous year and a 52% rise from the previous month. Particularly, the Xpeng MONA M03 surpassed the 10,000-unit mark, signaling strong market demand.
Leapmotor reported an impressive month as well, delivering 33,767 vehicles, which represents a 113.7% year-over-year increase. This growth has enabled Leapmotor to firmly establish itself in the market with steady monthly sales exceeding 30,000 units.
Xiaomi's SU7 has consistently surpassed the 10,000-unit delivery mark for four consecutive months. The company aims to increase production further, targeting 20,000 units in October, with expectations to meet its annual target ahead of schedule.
These standout performances among new energy vehicle makers reflect a broader market trend toward robust growth in the EV sector. The increased adoption of new energy vehicles, coupled with expanding market penetration, underscores the rising consumer demand and the strategic successes of these companies in scaling their operations efficiently.
