Indiana-based Star Air, the largest regional airline in India, is considering the purchase of up to 20 Embraer E2 jets, worth approximately $1 billion. The deal, if finalized, would mark Embraer's first sale to a regional airline in India, which is set to increase the number of airports to 400 by 2047. Deliveries are expected to begin in March 2028.
