The Morley to Ellenbrook line has recorded 3.2 million train rides in its first year of operation, with October seeing the highest number of boardings at 340,000. Transport Minister Rita Saffioti hailed the first year as a success, citing the project's value for money and the impact it has had on the community. The line has halved the travel time for Ellenbrook residents to get to the Perth CBD, with an average of 2108 boardings each weekday at Ellenbrook Station.
