Einride, Lidl Deploy First Autonomous Cab-less Truck in Germany

Einride and Lidl have launched the first cab-less autonomous truck in Germany's public road under a permit from the Federal Motor Transport Authority. The SAE Level 4 truck operates without a driver or safety operator, transporting goods between a Lidl warehouse and a store. This achievement sets a new benchmark for autonomous logistics globally, reflecting an extensive safety validation process conducted with the KBA.
