Edible Garden AG Incorporated (EDBL, EDBLW) has announced a significant expansion of its national retail distribution network through a partnership with Pete's Fresh Market, a rapidly growing supermarket chain headquartered in Chicago. The agreement will see Edible Garden supply Pete's Fresh Market with a diverse selection of its sustainably grown offerings, including fresh potted herbs, hydroponic basil, wheatgrass, cut herbs, and Pickle Party products. This strategic partnership aims to increase Edible Garden's national retail presence and provide customers with locally grown, organic, and sustainable produce and products.

The partnership will leverage Edible Garden's Zero-Waste Inspired® platform and Direct-to-Distribution Center (DC) program to optimize freshness, reduce food miles, and streamline inventory flow. Pete's Fresh Market, founded in the early 1970s, has expanded significantly and currently operates 18 stores with plans for additional locations in the Chicago area. Edible Garden's CEO, Jim Kras, commented on the partnership, stating, "Our expansion into Pete's Fresh Market is more than just a retail placement—it's a strategic partnership with a grocer that shares our values of freshness, sustainability, and community focus. This collaboration supports our mission to make sustainably grown, locally sourced produce widely accessible, while also enhancing our presence in one of the most dynamic grocery markets in the country."

The partnership reflects increasing demand for transparent, ESG-aligned brands and strengthens Edible Garden's ability to serve a growing base of environmentally and health-conscious consumers. Edible Garden's offerings are available in over 5,000 retail locations across the United States, Caribbean, and South America, and the company is recognized as a leader in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) and sustainability technology.
