Ecopetrol plans to invest between $5.8bn and $7.2bn in 2026, with a focus on exploration and production, targeting organic production of 730,000-740,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The company will drill 380-430 development wells and 8-10 exploratory wells, with a focus on offshore regions and the Meta and Putumayo areas. Investment in gas is expected to total 1.5tn pesos, and refining investments will reach nearly 1.7tn pesos.
