EchoStar to Sell AWS-3 Spectrum to SpaceX for $2.6 Billion

EchoStar has agreed to sell its unpaired AWS-3 spectrum license portfolio to SpaceX for approximately $2.6 billion in SpaceX stock. The unpaired AWS-3 spectrum will enable SpaceX to develop and deploy a next-generation Starlink Direct to Cell constellation. The transaction builds on a previous agreement between the companies and will strengthen EchoStar's ability to develop new business opportunities and growth in value for its shareholders.
