Eastern Bank has appointed Denise LeMay as Senior Vice President, Head of Foreign Exchange and Derivative Sales in its Commercial Banking division. LeMay brings over 25 years of experience in advising on interest rate risk management and derivative products. Her role will help Eastern Bank strengthen its commercial banking services and offer tailored solutions for managing currency fluctuations and interest rates.

Eastern Bank has appointed Denise LeMay as Senior Vice President, Head of Foreign Exchange and Derivative Sales in its Commercial Banking division. LeMay brings over 25 years of experience in advising on interest rate risk management and derivative products. Her role will help Eastern Bank strengthen its commercial banking services and offer tailored solutions for managing currency fluctuations and interest rates.

Ms. LeMay joins Eastern Bank from M&T Bank, where she served as Senior Vice President, Treasury Capital Markets Trading Manager. She advised commercial clients on the use of derivative products to manage interest rate risk and played a key role in the transition from LIBOR to SOFR. Before M&T Bank, she built and led the Interest Rate Derivatives program at People’s United Bank, growing it into a key revenue driver.
