Woodside Energy and East Timor have signed a cooperation agreement to study the viability of sending gas from the Greater Sunrise fields to a new LNG plant. The agreement aims to develop the first LNG from the fields by 2032, with Woodside Energy having previously played a key role in a failed $40 billion project to develop the fields with neighboring Australia.
