Duolingo has announced that Gillian Munson will become the company's new Chief Financial Officer on February 23, 2026. Matt Skaruppa will step down after nearly six years with the company and assume an advisory role to ensure a seamless transition. Luis von Ahn, Co-Founder and CEO, thanked Skaruppa for his contributions to Duolingo's growth. Munson will be the company's first female CFO.
