Dubai will launch driverless RoboTaxis across 65 locations in the first phase of its rollout, with commercial services planned for early 2026. The RTA has issued Baidu Apollo Go Dubai's first permit to conduct fully autonomous vehicle trials without a safety driver. The initiative builds on a Memorandum of Understanding signed between RTA and Baidu in March 2025 to support large-scale autonomous taxi operations.
