Dover Fueling Solutions introduces Bulloch POS to the U.S. market, a comprehensive software solution that combines POS, EPS, and forecourt controllers into a unified platform. The system aims to reduce POS tech site visits by up to 80%, enhancing operational efficiency. Currently supporting over 8,000 locations in Canada, the introduction to the U.S. is expected to create cross-selling opportunities and boost customer retention.
Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS), a division of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV), has announced the availability of its Bulloch POS™ system in the United States. The Bulloch POS uniquely unifies point of sale (POS), electronic payment systems (EPS), and forecourt controllers into a single software solution, designed to enhance operational efficiency and maximize uptime for fuel and convenience operators.
The system, which has been successfully operating in Canada for decades, is now set to enter the U.S. market following DFS's acquisition of Bulloch Technologies in January 2024. Key features of the Bulloch POS include dual-terminal redundancy, configuration backups, remote software control, and proactive monitoring, all aimed at minimizing downtime and reducing technical site visits by up to 80%. This comprehensive solution is expected to create cross-selling opportunities and boost customer retention in the U.S. market.
According to Kendra Keller, Vice President and General Manager of North America at DFS, "The U.S. retail POS market needed another option. Bulloch has delivered simplicity, reliability, and trusted support in Canada for decades. Now we're bringing the same proven performance to the U.S. with an operator-focused solution that is fully integrated into DFS' unified and secure ecosystem."
Lorne Cam, Senior Director of Engineering and Architecture of Bulloch Technologies at DFS, added, "Bulloch is built and run by real people who have worked the register, ensuring we deliver better bottom-line value, greater reliability, and support operators can count on."
Bulloch POS is Conexxus- and PCI-compliant and integrates seamlessly with DFS's robust suite of technologies to support a connected and secure site experience. The system is backed by DFS's simple, clear warranty terms and comes with a best-in-class customer support team.
The introduction of Bulloch POS to the U.S. market aligns with Dover's strategy to expand its global presence and provide innovative solutions to fuel and convenience retail customers. With a strong financial track record and a history of consistent dividend increases, Dover is well-positioned to capitalize on this opportunity.
