The US Transportation Department has launched a "civility campaign" to promote good behavior on flights and at airports during the holiday travel season. The department cites a rise in bad behavior on board, with 13,800 incidents of unruly passengers since 2021 and a 400% increase in in-flight outbursts since 2019.
