Dogecoin's 10% Surge Ignites Meme Coin Frenzy, Unipcs Picks Top Gainers

The recent rally in Dogecoin, which has surged by more than 10%, has reignited the frenzy surrounding meme coins. This surge has led to a significant increase in the value of various meme coins, with some, such as MemeFi and MOODENG, experiencing gains of over 200% in just the past week. As the Dogecoin rally continues, it is expected that more meme coins will outperform, with some having greater potential for further gains.

Crypto trader Unipcs, known as the ‘Bonk Guy’ on X, has shared his top meme coin picks for the current cycle. Unipcs gained popularity for his successful long position in BONK, which at one point had a profit and loss (PNL) of over $13 million. His meme coin selections have become highly sought after due to his consistent winning trades.

BONK remains at the top of Unipcs’ list, being the original meme coin that brought him fame. He explained that his conviction in BONK remains very high, noting that the 70-90% corrections are normal for this meme coin. BONK has managed to reach new all-time highs after each correction, leading Unipcs to believe that it will recover and reach new highs from its current position. Interestingly, Unipcs revealed that he continues to hold his BONK long trade, which has been running for over a year now, with over $1 million paid in fees already.

Another meme coin that Unipcs has shown a high level of conviction in is FLOKI. He revealed that FLOKI is his biggest meme coin holding in spot. This meme coin, named after Elon Musk’s dog, was the only top meme coin to make a new all-time high in 2024, indicating strong investor confidence. Unipcs stated in April that FLOKI is incredibly undervalued, citing reasons such as its listing on all major crypto exchanges, an ETP filing, and its popularity on the BNB Chain. As a result, he sees the price reaching a new all-time high.

Fartcoin is one of the most recent additions to Unipcs’ lineup, with a long position that has a PNL of over $5 million. Despite the meme coin having rallied more than 400% from his entry, Unipcs believes that Fartcoin has more room to grow. He pointed out that Fartcoin has the highest mindshare of this era and is expected to make new highs as Bitcoin continues to rise. “Sometimes, you need to look beyond the imaginary lines on your chart and think about what could happen when things get crazy,” Unipcs wrote.

Other meme coins that have caught Unipcs’ attention include POPCAT. More recently, he took a new long position in a meme coin, which his followers quickly deciphered as PNUT, a meme coin that is already performing well.
