DMG Blockchain Solutions has signed a letter agreement to purchase a 27,600 sq. ft. building in Oregon, marking its first US-based data center. The facility will have access to 3.75 megawatts of power and is situated near Amazon Web Services data centers. DMG plans to initially use the site for Bitcoin mining but aims to expand its power allocation and infrastructure to support high-performance computing data centers. The acquisition complements the company's strategy to develop Canadian sovereign AI infrastructure.
