Disney World and Disneyland Enforce Strict Dress Code, Guests Prohibited from Wearing Inappropriate Attire

Disney theme parks, Disneyland and Disney World, have strict dress codes in place to maintain a family-friendly environment. Guests are prohibited from wearing clothing that shows too much skin, has offensive language or graphics, or costumes for those over 14. A recent incident went viral on TikTok, where a woman was told to buy a shirt to continue her visit after being stopped for violating the dress code. The dress code has been in place since Disneyland opened in 1955, with Walt Disney wanting to create a different type of amusement park.
