A ferry boat crashed into a dock at Walt Disney World's Transportation & Ticket Center in Florida during rough weather, injuring multiple people. Fire and rescue officials helped respond to the incident, and paramedics treated several individuals. Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with people helping each other and checking on others' well-being. It was not the first incident involving ferry boats at Walt Disney World.

A ferry boat crash at Walt Disney World's Transportation & Ticket Center in Florida resulted in multiple injuries to passengers. The incident occurred during rough weather conditions on Wednesday night, according to fire and rescue officials in Orange County. Several individuals were treated by paramedics, with some being loaded onto stretchers for additional medical care.

Witnesses described the scene as chaotic, with passengers helping each other and paramedics working to tend to the injured. Tami Hackett, who was on the boat with her family, recalled the crash and the subsequent confusion. "Suddenly we crashed into something and we all went flying forward, falling. The stroller landed on its back, causing the girls to hit their heads. A lot of people screaming and really hurt bad. We got the girls out, and they docked. And honestly that is when it all went down hill. Not only was there no announcement on what to do when injured, they just had us get off the boat," Hackett told FOX 35 [1].

This incident is not the first time ferry boats at Walt Disney World have been involved in mishaps. In a previous lawsuit, Justin Tripp sued Walt Disney World after a ferry boat crashed into a dock, allegedly sending him into a trash can. Tripp claimed to have sustained several injuries to his head and neck as well as other parts of his body. The lawsuit stated that "Disney knew, or in the exercise of reasonable care should have known, of the actions and inactions that caused the allision or crash of the ferry into the dock and failed to correct such conditions" [1].

While the exact cause of the crash remains unclear, officials believe it was related to the rough weather conditions that were prevalent in the Central Florida area on Wednesday night. The ferry boats used to transport people have two levels, with some benches on both levels, but passengers commonly stand on the boats instead. The boats travel between Disney's Transportation & Ticket Center and Disney's Magic Kingdom.

The incident highlights the importance of safety measures and emergency protocols at theme parks, especially during adverse weather conditions. Walt Disney World has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.
