Digital Art Meets Breakfast: NFT Culture Now in the Cereal Aisle
Doodles, a prominent non-fungible token (NFT) project, has announced a collaboration with Froot Loops, a cereal brand known for its colorful, fruit-flavored loops made from corn, wheat, and oats. The partnership aims to launch NFT-branded cereals, marking a significant expansion into the physical goods market for the Doodles team. The announcement was made via a blog post on September 8, 2025, by the Doodles team.
The collaboration builds on the NFT project’s growing influence in the physical and digital realms. Created in 2021 on the EthereumETH-- blockchain by digital artist Scott Martin and co-founded by Evan Keast and Jordan Castro, Doodles consists of 10,000 unique cartoonish figures. The project launched its native cryptocurrency, $DOOD, on May 9, 2025, on the SolanaSOL-- blockchain, with an airdrop to NFT holders. The $DOOD token is designed to enhance community engagement and provide utility within the NFT ecosystem.
The announcement of the Froot Loops collaboration triggered an immediate response in the Doodles NFT market. The floor price of Doodles NFTs surged from 0.78ETH to as high as 0.84ETH within hours of the announcement, reflecting strong community and investor interest. The cereal boxes will feature Doodles NFT art, aligning with the project’s strategy of blending digital and physical experiences. Froot Loops, a subsidiary of Kellogg’s, is known for its fortified, energy-providing breakfast options and has a long-standing presence in the cereal market since its launch in 1963.
This partnership follows a successful collaboration with McDonald’sMCD-- in 2024, where Doodles extended its reach into physical merchandise. The NFT project has also worked with major global brands such as Adidas and PlayStation, further cementing its position as a bridge between digital art and mainstream consumer goods. The Froot Loops partnership is expected to strengthen Doodles’ presence in the retail space while introducing NFT culture to a broader audience through a familiar household product.
The move into the cereal market is part of a broader trend in the NFT space, where digital artists and brands increasingly seek to merge physical and digital offerings. Doodles has already demonstrated its ability to create value across platforms, with ventures into music, games, and merchandise. The integration of NFT elements into physical products not only enhances brand visibility but also introduces a new generation of consumers to blockchain-based art and collectibles. With this latest collaboration, Doodles continues to expand its ecosystem, leveraging its digital roots to influence traditional markets.
