Diageo to Close Ontario Bottling Facility, Shifts Work to US

Diageo will close its bottling facility in Amherstburg, Ont., next year, shifting some bottling volume to the US. The move will affect about 200 jobs. The company will maintain a significant footprint in Canada, including headquarters and warehouse operations in the GTA, and bottling and distillation facilities in Manitoba and Quebec. Crown Royal products will continue to be produced in Canada.
