The Jean-Marc Vallée DGC Discovery Award recognizes emerging talent in the industry. This year's nominees include Kaniehtiio Horn for "Seeds," Matthew Rankin for "Universal Language," Marie-Hélène Viens & Philippe Lupien for "You Are Not Alone," Yuqi Kang for "7 Beats per Minute," Melanie Oates for "Sweet Angel Baby," and Liz Whitmere for "Cold" [1].
