Devon Energy is set to move its headquarters to Houston after a merger with Coterra Energy, but will maintain a "significant presence" in Oklahoma City. The combined company will have a high-quality asset base anchored by a premier position in the Delaware Basin. Devon Energy CEO Clay Gasper will lead the company, which is expected to capture annual pre-tax synergies of $1 billion. The merger is expected to be completed in spring 2026.
