Deutsche Telekom Teams Up with Nvidia for 5G+ Mobile Gaming Offering

Wolfgang Metze, Head of Consumer Business at Telekom Deutschland, added, "Cloud gaming needs fast reactions and zero interruptions – every millisecond counts and can mean the difference between victory and defeat. With 5G+ Gaming in Germany’s largest 5G+ network, players can enjoy high-performance, seamless gameplay on the go via the GeForce NOW platform – featuring a top-tier selection of over 2,300 supported titles. No downloads, no lag" [1].
Starting in autumn 2025, the 5G+ Gaming Option will be available to Telekom customers with a current MagentaMobil plan and a compatible device. Supported smartphones for GeForce NOW include the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and the latest S25 series [1].
The gaming solution will be implemented via Deutsche Telekom's 5G Standalone network, which offers features like network slicing and L4S to optimize response times and ensure a smooth gaming experience [1].
Deutsche Telekom's 5G+ network is the largest in Germany, covering over 98% of the population. The new service is expected to drive further adoption of 5G technology and cloud gaming, capitalizing on the growing mobile gaming market [1].
