Delhi High Court Stays Order Against Wipro in Defamation Case Filed by Dismissed Employee.

The Delhi High Court has stayed an order requiring Wipro to pay damages to a former employee, Abhijit Mishra, in a defamation case. The single judge bench had ordered Wipro to pay damages and issue a fresh termination letter due to the wording of Mishra's termination letter. Wipro argued that Mishra demonstrated a lack of interest in improving his performance and had ample evidence of loss of trust. The court sought a response from Mishra on Wipro's appeal.
