The DeKalb County Board of Commissioners approved a $45 million development by Sky Harbour at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK), which will generate $66 million in direct revenue for the airport and $510 million in tax revenues for the county over 50 years. The development aims to reduce traffic, noise, and emissions while generating revenue for community investments and the airport's revitalization. A Friends of PDK group and Community Relations Manager will be established to ensure open communication with residents and monitor environmental impacts.
