SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition allows businesses to add custom fields to supported documents using the Extension Fields for Nota Fiscal Mapping BAdI. This feature enables the addition of simple and complex data types at any point within the document structure, ensuring effective handling of dynamic data. Currently, NF-e, NFS-e, and CT-e are supported, but new fields or structures only appear in the XML file if the Electronic Nota Fiscal (NFe) Authorize, Electronic Service Nota Fiscal (NFSe) and CTe Autorize APIs already support them.
