A scammer stole nearly $50 million in USDT tokens from a user in a poisoning attack. The user mistakenly copied and pasted the scammer's address, which closely matched their own. The scammer quickly swapped the stablecoins for other cryptocurrencies and laundered them via Tornado Cash. This is one of the biggest on-chain scams ever, according to blockchain sleuths.
