Cross-Chain Bridges Surge: Berachain, Base, Sonic Lead in Net Inflow
In the past seven days, Berachain, Base, and Sonic have emerged as the top three cross-chain bridges in terms of net inflow of funds, according to data from DefiLlama. Berachain led the pack with a net inflow of $85.47 million, followed by Base with $48.28 million and Sonic with $37.98 million.
Meanwhile, some of the largest public chains experienced net outflows. Ethereum saw a net outflow of $135 million, Avalanche had $110 million, and BSC recorded $58 million.
This shift in capital flow suggests a growing interest in cross-chain interoperability and the potential for these bridges to facilitate seamless asset transfers between different blockchains. As the crypto ecosystem continues to evolve, the performance of these bridges will be an important metric to watch.
