CPS Technologies Awarded Phase II Army STTR Contract to Develop Controlled Fragmentation Warhead

CPS Technologies has secured a Phase II Army STTR contract to develop a controlled fragmentation tungsten warhead. The two-year contract, funded by the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, has $1.15 million in funding. The company will continue its development of a 40mm variant, building on the success of the Phase I program. This marks the company's fifth new federally funded project of 2025 and its third successful conversion of a Phase I program to Phase II since June 2024.
