Coursera, Inc. (NYSE: COUR) has reported robust financial results for the second quarter of 2025, demonstrating a 10% year-over-year (YoY) increase in revenue to $187.1 million. This performance exceeded analyst expectations by nearly $6.6 million, highlighting the company's strong growth trajectory in the online learning sector. The adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.12 also beat consensus estimates, contributing to a 52-week high in Coursera's stock price.

The quarterly report, released on July 24, 2025, revealed that Coursera's gross profit increased by 14% to $102.7 million, while net loss per share decreased by 67% to $0.05. The company's free cash flow stood at $29 million, marking a 68% increase from the previous year. Additionally, Coursera's adjusted EBITDA margin improved by 350 basis points to 9.6%, indicating strong operational efficiency.

The company's consumer revenue grew by 10% to $122.8 million, while enterprise revenue also increased by 10% to $64.3 million. The net retention rate for paid enterprise customers remained steady at 93%. Coursera's total registered learners increased by 18% to 183 million, reflecting the platform's continued appeal to a diverse global audience.

Looking ahead, Coursera has raised its full-year 2025 revenue outlook to a range of $738 to $746 million, an increase of $17 million from its previous projection. The company also expects its adjusted EBITDA margin to improve by 200 basis points to 8.0% for the full year. These projections indicate Coursera's confidence in its ability to sustain growth and profitability.
