Corn Futures Surge Amid Export Sales and Strong Brazilian Exports

Corn futures rose 3-4 cents on Thursday, with December up 6 ¼ cents, due to continued export business. USDA reported private sales of 100,800 MT to Colombia and 392,500 MT to Mexico. Export sales for the week of October 30 totaled 1.99 MMT, above trade ideas. Brazilian export data showed a 6.48% increase from last year, but a 22.58% drop from last month. Statistics Canada estimated 2025 corn production at 14.867 MMT, down 3.1% from last year.
