The Compton is not just a hotel but a design landmark in the Ozarks. The property's arrival experience starts at the Front Porch, a fully outdoor space styled like an interior living room. Matching floor and ceiling materials extend the visual flow, while full-height glass walls and mirrored planting beds link interior and exterior spaces. At the heart of the hotel, a soaring two-story atrium serves as a centerpiece, connecting the various levels and creating a sense of awe and wonder.

The hotel's guestrooms are designed to reflect the natural beauty of the region, with native materials and river-inspired textures. The two-story atrium, living design elements, and the nature lab bar all contribute to the hotel's unique atmosphere. The Compton's ballroom ceiling mimics flowing water, adding to the hotel's natural and serene ambiance.

The Compton is set to open in November, with three food and beverage establishments managed by Ropeswing Hospitality Group. The establishments include Sestina, a modern steakhouse; The Eddy, a cocktail bar; and Field Notes, a community café. Ropeswing Hospitality Group is a subsidiary of Runway Group, led by Steuart and Tom Walton, grandsons of Walmart founder Sam Walton. The establishments are expected to employ between 80 and 100 staff.

The Compton's vision is to be part of the fabric of Bentonville, creating experiences that celebrate where people live. The hotel's design and offerings are a testament to this vision, providing guests with a meaningful and place-connected experience.
