Colombian Police Capture Suspect Behind Attack on Senator Miguel Uribe

The Colombian police arrested Elder José Arteaga, a fugitive accused of organizing and participating in an attack on Senator Miguel Uribe, the fifth person taken into custody during the investigation of the attack on the politician. Arteaga, known as "El Costeño," is accused of organizing the attack and was captured in a neighborhood in western Bogota, where he was hiding. He faces charges of attempted homicide, arms trafficking, conspiracy, and using minors for criminal activities.
