Cocoa Prices Hit Eight-Month Low Amid Improved Supply Outlook; Sugar Rises

Cocoa futures on the ICE hit an eight-month low due to improving supply prospects, while sugar futures recovered. The US Independence Day holiday will affect trading on Friday. Cocoa prices in London fell 1.9% to £5,441 per tonne, while New York futures fell 1.5% to $8,101 per tonne. Sugar futures rose 5.1% to 16.38 cents per pound.
