STRATA Skin Sciences announced that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has confirmed continued reimbursement for excimer laser treatments under CPT codes 96920, 96921, and 96922. The Final Rule recognized the excimer laser as a well-established treatment modality and affirmed continued coverage and increased payment for CY 2026. CMS also indicated it will review clinical and cost data for CY 2027 rulemaking.
