"ClustroAI Raises $15M for Edge AI Revolution"
ClustroAI, a startup specializing in edge AI computing, has secured a significant Series A funding round of $12 million, led by Forum Ventures. This round follows an earlier seed investment from nvidia, the global leader in GPU computing and AI. The funding will be used to advance research and development in automated AI operation management, AI computing network construction, and multi-hardware compatibility, further optimizing the deployment capability of AI on local and edge devices.
The Series A round saw participation from several well-known institutions, including MetaBlast, metaverse group, Bing Ventures, and Sky Ventures, bringing the total funding amount to $15 million. ClustroAI's innovative Edge AI computing architecture aligns with NVIDIA's mission to accelerate the expansion of AI computing from the cloud to the edge, driving advancements in industries such as artificial intelligence, data centers, autonomous driving, and medical computing.
ClustroAI's founder, Chris, highlighted the company's standardized AI protocol and AI framework, which enables enterprises to flexibly deploy AI on local devices or edge servers without relying on remote cloud computing. This technical architecture, through containerized AI computing, allows AI models to run efficiently directly on smart terminals, industrial equipment, autonomous driving systems, and other edge scenarios, supporting AI applications such as Large Language Models (LLM), AI-generated content (AIGC), and speech translation.
