ClearToken has received approval from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for CT Settle, a digital asset settlement service that enables true delivery-versus-payment (DvP) settlement. This aims to solve capital inefficiency caused by pre-funding of trades on exchanges and OTC markets. The service is backed by Nomura subsidiary Laser Digital and plans to introduce a central counterparty clearing house and extend services to tokenized securities through the UK's Digital Securities Sandbox.
