Chroma ATE Reports NT$9.20 Billion Operating Profit for Fiscal Year 2025
February 25, 2026
Chroma ATE (2330.TW), a leading provider of automated test equipment and solutions, reported an operating profit of NT$9.20 billion for fiscal year (FY) 2025, representing a 12% year-over-year increase. The company attributed the growth to sustained demand for semiconductor testing equipment and expanded adoption of its electric vehicle (EV) battery testing solutions.
Revenue for the fiscal year reached NT$48.5 billion, reflecting an 8% rise compared to FY 2024. The operating profit margin stood at 19.0%, down slightly from 20.5% in the prior year, due to higher R&D expenditures aimed at advancing next-generation testing technologies. Gross margin improved to 42.3% from 40.5% in FY 2024, signaling enhanced efficiency in production and cost management.
Chroma ATE's performance was driven by strong demand in the semiconductor sector, particularly for advanced node testing systems, as well as growing partnerships with EV manufacturers. The company also noted contributions from its photovoltaic (PV) inverter testing division, which saw stable order growth amid global renewable energy expansion.
Management emphasized that the results align with long-term strategic goals, including diversification into emerging markets and strengthening supply chain resilience. Chroma ATE has not provided specific guidance for FY 2026 but stated that it will continue prioritizing R&D and operational efficiency.
The stock closed at NT$685 on the Taipei Exchange on February 25, 2026, with a market capitalization of approximately NT$58 billion. Analysts have highlighted the company's positioning in high-growth sectors but cautioned that macroeconomic uncertainties and industry cyclicality could impact future performance.
